BOSKIND Creations is a proudly South African brand rooted in family, heritage and a deep love for nature.
The story behind the name begins generations ago in the Knysna forests. The man pictured above is the owner’s great-grandfather, one of the early members of the Zeelie family who made their life among the forests of Knysna. He lived closely connected to the land and trained oxen to pull timber carts through the forest — a way of life that required strength, patience and a deep understanding of the environment around him.
The Zeelie family became known for their love of the forest — the bos — and for the importance they placed on respecting and preserving nature. That connection to the forest became part of the family’s identity and has continued through generations.
The name BOSKIND is a tribute to that heritage.
Bos represents the forest, while kind speaks to belonging — a child of the forest, shaped by nature, family and the stories that came before.
Today, BOSKIND Creations carries that story forward through thoughtfully made products that combine comfort, practicality and beautiful design.
